One product credit represents US$0.01 of ClipRecast usage. A route quote converts the selected workflow and duration into required credits before generation. Product credits are not the same as a provider’s API units.

In the current internal beta, yes. Each workspace receives one initial 1,000-product-credit ledger grant. This is a ClipRecast balance, not 1,000 free Kling API units. The grant can change before public paid generation opens.

You can add a public social URL as a reference. ClipRecast does not download social-platform media from that link. Upload an original or authorized file when you want to generate.

Confirmed technical failures can return eligible reserved product credits. A valid output that does not match a subjective preference is different and is not automatically treated as a technical refund.

No. ClipRecast blocks public-figure impersonation, political impersonation, minors, deceptive identity use, and other high-risk categories described in the Acceptable Use Policy.

The direct Kling developer API benchmark file currently shown on ClipRecast has no embedded watermark. Upstream provider behavior can change, so each paid route is validated before it is offered.

Generation is asynchronous. Queue and provider time vary by route and demand. You can leave the tab, return to the workspace, and inspect the job status and downloadable output when it is ready.
